  • Reagan C. RorschachManaging Director – Direct Originations

    Reagan Rorschach is an accomplished Senior Executive and Thought Leader with more than 30 years of success in finance, energy, engineering, and construction. Leveraging extensive experience managing and negotiating multimillion-dollar finance transactions, he is an expert to mid-market and public companies in need of capital to support liquidity, expansion, refinancing, and acquisitions.  With a passion for complex transactions, Reagan finds superior solutions for customers.  He brings a unique perspective that results from his diverse experience and thinks several steps ahead to address problems before they impact a transaction.  Known as a good listener and an “understander”, he never loses sight of customer objectives.

    Reagan is active in the Dallas community and served on the board of the Highland Park United Methodist Church Day School.  He holds an MBA from Baylor University, a BS and MS in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University.  He previously held Series 7, 66, 24 FINRA Licenses and currently holds a State of Texas Professional Engineer License (inactive status).

  • Jeffrey Griffin

    Jeffrey Griffin is the Managing Director of Stonebriar’s Rail Leasing and financing platform that provides operating leases for new or used equipment to railroads, shippers, equipment lessors, and maintenance of way providers to support the acquisition of railcars and ancillary rail equipment.

    He is responsible for the implementation of Direct Market sales strategies and the management of customer relations for the US, Canada and Mexico oversees portfolio strategy and select secondary market transactions.  Prior to joining SCF Jeff served as Vice President of Rail Leasing Plain States, Western US and Canada with SMBC Rail Services and its predecessor companies where he grew the company’s customer base and market share of railcar leasing clients. Prior to that time he served as a National Account Manager and a Senior Account Manager at GE Rail Services over a four year period. Jeff started his career at Union Pacific Railroad where he spent 15 years in positions of increasing responsibility.

    Jeff received a Master of Business Management from Bellevue University and a Bachelor of Science from Clark College (aka Clark Atlanta University).  He serves on the board of the Purpose Driven Advocacy Center (PDAC).

    Dave is the Founder, President and Chief Executive Officer of Stonebriar Commercial Finance providing leadership and oversight over all aspects of the business. With over 35 years of industry experience, Dave created and launched Stonebriar with capital backing from Eldridge Industries and Security Benefit Corporation in March of 2015. Dave currently leads a team of 47 professionals focused on originating transactions through multiple channels including direct clients, OEMs and strategic partner relationships. Stonebriar provides lease and finance products to a wide range of industries including rail, aviation, marine, transportation, energy, manufacturing and real estate.

    Since launching Stonebriar he has led the team on a phenomenal growth trajectory culminating in Stonebriar achieving an investment grade corporate credit rating while building a highly profitable $3 billion portfolio. During that time Stonebriar has issued seven ABS transactions approximating$3.5B with the top traches rated AAA on the last four issuances. Stonebriar is proud to have over 50 institutional investors including some of the largest global asset managers, pension funds and insurance companies. In October 2019 Stonebriar completed its inaugural $150M Investment Grade Unsecured private placement to further diversify its funding sources. Dave previously played key leadership roles in the successful startup of $3.5B AIG Commercial Asset Finance and $3.2B Transamerica Equipment Finance.

    He began his career in 1982 as a credit analyst with CIT in Wichita, KS. Dave has been a strong ELFA industry advocate during his career having served on various ELFA committees, the board of the ELFA Foundation and is currently a member of the ELFA Executive Committee. He currently is actively involved in the ELFA’s Emerging Talent and Women’s Counsel initiatives. In 2018 Dave was awarded the first ever Monitor MVP award, and Goldman Sachs recognized him as one of 2020’s 100 most intriguing entrepreneurs.

  • Steve E. WhiteEVP, Sr. Managing Director – Capital Markets

    Steve has over 35 years of experience in the financial services industry and is the Senior Vice President and Senior Managing Director at Stonebriar Commercial Finance, directing all of Stonebriar’s Capital Markets activities. Steve was Senior Managing Director of Capital Markets at GE Capital, leading Capital Markets for all GE Capital’s Equipment Finance and Leasing businesses.

    Steve began his career in 1979 as a credit analyst with Credit Alliance Corp., headquartered in NYC. In 1982, he accepted a senior Credit/Underwriting position with Maryland National Bank Leasing, in Towson, MD. Over the following eight years, Steve took on increasing responsibilities, becoming Senior Vice President of Capital Markets for Maryland National.

    Steve joined GE Capital in 1990 and was Co-Founder of GE’s Capital Markets Group. He played a key role in the formation of global Capital Markets activities for all GE, leading a 40-person global capital markets team located in 17 countries, and growing from $80MM of domestic syndications to over $8.0 Billion annual syndications in 17 countries. Steve. The global team focused on loan and lease syndications, portfolio buy/sell activities, investor development/management, alternative funding, pricing, underwriting, warehouse lines, and securitizations. Steve’s experience includes, among others, healthcare, marine, construction, transportation, energy, utilities, manufacturing, and technology.

    He has been active in the Equipment Finance and Leasing Association and served as a member of the Bank/Large Corporate committee. He received a Bachelor of Science from Towson State University and an MBA from Loyola University, in Towson, MD. Steve is a licensed FINRA series 7 and series 24 principal.

  • Jeffrey L. WilkisonSVP, Chief Credit Officer

    Jeffrey has over twenty-five years of experience and a strong background in financial services. He has a history of successfully managing a high-performing credit department, responsible for the full range of managerial duties including staffing, underwriting, documentation, lien perfection, collection and recovery and compliance with policies and practices of both the organization and applicable regulatory agencies. Jeffrey is experienced in establishing systems of credit analysis and quality assurance that support assignment of credit ratings in conjunction with loss reserve analysis. He has exhibited very successful portfolio management performance across a broad array of asset types, including rail and aviation deployed in a diverse geographic area, including Canada and Mexico. He has strong structuring and product knowledge of loans, capital and operating leases, leveraged and synthetic leases and real estate. His capabilities also include managing and operating with internal funding sources under multi participant credit and securitization facilities.

    Jeffrey has a BBA in Finance from the University of Texas at Arlington.

  • Nicholas M. SandlerEVP, Sr. Managing Director – Aviation Capital

    Nicholas Sandler is Executive Vice President of Stonebriar Commercial Finance and Head of SCF Aviation Capital, Stonebriar’s leasing and financing platform that provides customized capital solutions to owners, operators, dealers and manufacturers of business and commercial aircraft worldwide.

    Previously, Nicholas was a Managing Director at Guggenheim Partners where he served in various capacities including portfolio manager of the Guggenheim Aircraft Opportunity Fund, L.P, Head of Public Affairs and was member of the firm’s corporate credit group.

    Prior to joining Guggenheim, Nicholas was an analyst and portfolio manager at a private investment company in Hong Kong.  Earlier in his career, he served as special assistant to former California Gov. Gray Davis.  Nicholas serves on the boards of Epic Aero, Inc., the parent company of Flexjet and Sentient Jet, Simcom Aviation Training, the Miguel Contreras Foundation and is President of the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation, the official team charity of Major League Baseball’s Los Angeles Dodgers.

  • Kyle C. ParksEVP, Sr. Managing Director – Head of Direct Originations

    Kyle Parks is the Head of Direct Originations for Stonebriar. He is responsible for providing strategic direction and leadership to the team of SCF originators chartered to structure asset-centric loan and lease solutions directly with prospective commercial finance clients across the U.S., Canada, and select international markets. A 20-year veteran of the financial services industry, Kyle has managed several direct originations platforms providing structured capital solutions to clients. Most recently, Kyle was Senior Vice President and Senior Sales Manager for Wells Fargo Equipment Finance’s (“WFEF”) Energy and Marine group. In this capacity, Kyle led a team of five industry focused originators tasked with growing WFEF’s presence and portfolio in these markets. Prior to, and in addition to his energy and marine management responsibilities, Kyle led a team of six general industries originators focused on middle market to corporate clients in the southern U.S.

    Kyle joined WFEF in 2006 as Senior Vice President and Specialty Markets Manager – Energy. In this role, Kyle worked collaboratively with the bank’s energy lending group building WFEF’s energy related portfolio. Previously, Kyle was Director – Energy Finance with ORIX USA’s Structured Finance group and Vice President – Senior Account Manager with GE Commercial Finance – Commercial Equipment Financing.

    Kyle received a Master of Business Administration from Texas Christian University and a Bachelor of Arts from The University of Texas at Arlington. Kyle resides in Southlake, TX with his wife and four children.

  • Michael B. GayEVP, Sr. Managing Director, Sponsor Finance

    Prior to joining SCF, Mr. Gay launched NXT Capital’s Equipment Finance unit which focused on large-ticket equipment financings to both sponsor and non-sponsor backed, non-investment grade corporations. He’s also held various leadership roles at GE Capital and Banc of America Leasing.
